Hsinchu City Government will continue to purchase different types of rescue equipment and becomes the greatest backup for firefighters.

Mayor Lin stated that after he was elected, the city government invested over $9.2 million dollars to strengthen earthquake resilience of HCCFB's buildings and purchase aerial ladder fire trucks, fume exhauster trucks, fire trucks, and other fire equipment in order to enhance firefighters' safety during rescue mission. The city government applied $6.9 million dollar funds from the central government, and all the constructions of strengthening earthquake resilience of HCCFB's buildings are expected to be done before 2019.
