Hsinchu City Government Department of Transportation (HCGDT) states that Hsinchu City has 45 YouBike stations and 1125 youbikes, and they already served over 1.73 million times. A new YouBike station was set up at Hsinchu City Cultural Affairs Bureau (HCCAB), and the service of City Hall Station was also resumed. Additionally, Shibajian Mountain Station has been a popular station in recent days. The usages of the stations during holidays were doubled compared to weekdays. Hsinchu City Mayor Lin Chih-chien states that YouBike stations connect the green areas, water views, art and culture spots, and ecological landscapes in the city; he invites the public to enjoy the beauty of Hsinchu City through cycling.

Mayor Lin points out that he has been actively establishing a 4 km Hsinchu Forest and friendly pedestrian spaces. Apart from the construction of Hsinchu Station Plaza and the third phase construction of Hsinchu Green Park, Hsinchu City Cultural Greenways and the waterfall fountain were debuted last week. He points out that HCCAB is an important place for art and cultural exchange. The accessible facilities have improved the surrounding environment. The facilities, the waterfall fountain, and outdoor art and cultural shows form a high quality leisure space for the public. The Cultural Greenways will become a good place for visiting during holidays.
 
Ni Maorong, the director of HCGDT, states that Hsinchu City has rich historical background. The old town district contains many historical sites, and the city also has diverse ecological landscapes. Hsinchu City Government set up YouBike stations at each popular touring spot. The public can utilize the YouBike system for transportation.
