8 Artists from the Military Dependents' Village Display the Culture of Military Dependents' Village at Hsinchu City Military Dependents' Village Museum

"The Honor of military dependents' village – Beauty of Arts Exhibition" will be held at the third floor of Hsinchu City Military Dependents' Village Museum from November 1, 2017 to the end of the March, 2018. The exhibition uses the life stories of 8 artists from the military dependents' village as the theme to display their creative processes. The exhibition also has "military dependents' village art class" and "parent-child DIY creation," the public is welcome to come and experience the art of military dependents' village.
 
Hsinchu City Mayor Lin Chih-chien states, the public can experience how the artists obtained their inspirations for art creation from the military dependents' village through their artworks.
 
Hsinchu City Cultural Affairs Bureau states, the 8 artists are Yuan Qiongqiong, Liu Ruoyu, Zhen Shuchun, Liu Quxu, Yan Heting, He Rixin, Li Yilun, and Zhang Xuanyao. The exhibition has 4 sections including "Discover the beauty of military dependents' village," "The honor of Hsinchu military dependents' village," "Memory box," and "I am a little artist." The contents include literature, theater, ceramic art, ink art, multi-media installation art, songs, art educations, and printmaking.
 
Cultural Affairs Bureau states, in order to promote the unique culture of Hsinchu military dependents' village, the City Government will hold two "military dependents' village art class" and "parent-child DIY creation" during the event.
