"2017 Hsinchu Simple Life-Moat Strolling" will debut September 16 and 17, there will be performances, art and culture marketplace, music, lectures, and Freestyle Cypher Jam from 10:00 to 17:00 at the Moat, Dongmen, and 228 Park, Hsinchu City Mayor Lin Chih-chien invites all to relax at the moat while enjoying the weekend.

Mayor Lin stated, it is the third year of Hsinchu Simple Life, the goal of the festival is to deliver the message of life, allowing the public enjoy the simple life through marketplace, lectures, diverse performances, creating an easy and happy atmosphere in this blessed City. The festival use "outdoor" as the main theme, inviting the public to go outdoors and relax in the urban green areas of Hisnchu. 

Mayor Lin pointed out that, FOCA will be invited to perform for the Simple Life; FOCA not only performed for the French Art Festival, but also the closing ceremony of the Universiade. Moreover, Simple Life is also a stage to fulfill dream by providing performance areas and marketplace booths, Hsinchu Rocks and Freestyle Cypher Jam will begin at 14:00 on 16 and 17.
