Hsinchu City Art Museum Multi-materials Creation Exhibition, Turning Environmental Materials into Art Works

"Island- Environment- Story: Multi-materials Art Creation Exhibition" has begun in Hsinchu City Art Museum, inviting seven up and coming artists to use plastic materials such as bottles and drifts woods to create 20 pieces of collections, Mayor Lin Chih-chien gave affirmation to artists' works in turning waste and useless materials into artworks. 
 
Exibition Curator Zhang Xingzhi stated the exhibition have three main themes: Nature, Civilization and Sustainability, using Island as the name to recall people's memories of this land, allowing the public to rethink about wastes and environmental protection. Seven artists, who excel at turning wastes, recycled and nature materials into art works, are invited to exhibition, aiming to recall the public's love toward the environment and land of Taiwan.
