The 2024 Hsinchu City Children’s Art Festival, with the theme of “Bubble Paradise,” invited the popular Japanese IP Bubble Bobble’s “Bub” to celebrate Children’s Day with children from all over Taiwan. Over the four-day holiday, more than a hundred artists came together to bring the public 80 performances and nearly a hundred art experiences. The festival also featured many large and medium-sized inflatable structures and mechanical rides, which were highly popular among children, attracting over 300,000 visitors to transform the century-old park into a bubble paradise. Mayor Kao Hung-An expressed her gratitude to all the children and adults who attended the festival, and the volunteers and staff for their contributions to creating a happy children’s city.
The Cultural Affairs Bureau explained that the event collected more than 5,200 online questionnaires, with over 93% satisfaction in all six aspects, including event time, location, content planning, service attitude, peripheral indicators, and on-site cleanliness. Among them, 95.6% of the public affirmed the service attitude of the on-site staff, with comments such as “the staff is amiable, sacrificing holidays to accompany the children. I’m very grateful.” In addition to the online questionnaires, a children’s version of the questionnaire was also conducted, with results showing that over 400 children found the event very enjoyable.
