The "2018 Song of Spring – Taiwan Art Exchange Exhibition" began on Jan. 10. It took place in the galleries inside Hsinchu City Cultural Affairs Bureau (HCCAB). The exhibition invites over 100 artists and displays over 100 art works. The types of art works include oil painting, watercolor painting, pastel painting, mixed media, engraving, ink wash painting, calligraphy, Nihonga, pottery, sculpture, leather carving, metalworking, and masking tape craft, etc. The exhibition ends on Jan. 21; the public is welcomed to join the event.
Hsinchu City Mayor Lin Chih-chien states that "Song of Spring – Art Exchange Exhibition" was initiated by Hsinchu City Art Association (HCAA) in 2012. The exhibition was held in Hsinchu County, Miaoli County, Hualien County, Taoyuan County, and Ilan County each year. This is the seventh year holding the exhibition, and there are 17 art groups, 112 artists, and 120 art works in the exhibition.
