Hsinchu City Cultural Affairs Bureau launches the "Tanyi‧Xunyun – Liang Danhui West Painting Heritage Exhibition" in Meiyuan Gallery and Glass Gallery from Dec. 7 to Dec. 24. There will be more than 80 west paintings with the themes of flowers, personal feelings, and peaceful world. The opening tea party will be held at 10:00 on Dec. 9; Hsinchu City Government welcomes the public to come and visit the exhibition.
Hsinchu City Mayor Lin Chih-chien states that this is the 68th "Chu Qian Artists Heritage Exhibition" which was initiated in 1993. Liang Danhui, the ex-general education professor in National Hsinchu University of Education (NHCUE), was invited to demonstrate her paintings in the exhibition. She was also the west painting reviewer in the local art exhibition and the student art competition. She had made a great contributed to Hsinchu City's local art promotion.
The Cultural Affairs Bureau states that Liang Danhui was born in 1948, and she is the youngest daughter in the family. She was living in an artistic environment during her childhood because her father Liang Dingming was also an artist. She learned a lot from famous artistic teachers in National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) Department of Art. After she graduated from NTNU, she worked as an art teacher in Taipei City Shijian Junior High School for 15 years. She later studied and acquired Artistic Creation Master's Degree in America, and she taught painting in NHCUE for 23 years after she came back to Taiwan.
The "Tanyi‧Xunyun – Liang Danhui's West Painting Heritage Exhibition" displays Liang Danhui's meticulous paintings. There are plenty of brilliant contents in the exhibition.
