In order to expand the brand of Hsinchu City's featured craftsmanship, Hsinchu City Cultural Affairs Bureau collaborated with Museum of Ancient Taiwan Tiles and Shuili Snakekiln Ceramics Cultural Park to plan the museum cultural exchange event. 28 glass artists will display "Flower in Hsinchu" and "Kiln in Hsinchu" in Chiayi City and Nantou County respectively. Cultural Affairs Bureau encourages the public to visit the exhibitions.

Hsinchu City Mayor Lin Chih-chien states, in order to stimulate the cultural exchange between cities and counties and promote Hsinchu City's featured craftsmanship, Hsinchu City Government actively applies for the subsidy of "Promoting Museum and Museum of Local Culture Developing Plan" from Ministry of Culture.

Cultural Affairs Bureau points out that the event invites many famous glass artists such as Zheng Mingfan who had been selected in KOGEI World Competition in Kanazawa and EWAAC London this year. There will be 60 delicate creative arts displayed in the exhibitions.

Cultural Affairs Bureau state, "Flower in Hsinchu" at Museum of Ancient Taiwan Tiles uses the daily life environment as the theme to display the arts between glasses and tiles. On the other hand, "Kiln in Hsinchu" at Shuili Snakekiln Ceramics Cultural Park uses the combination of clays and glasses to display the artists' ingenuity.

"Flower in Hsinchu – Hsinchu City Glass Art Joint Exhibition" will be held at Museum of Ancient Taiwan Tiles (No. 282, Linsen West Road, Chiayi City) from Nov. 13 (Monday) to Nov. 28 (Tuesday). "Kiln in Hsinchu - Hsinchu City Glass Art Joint Exhibition" will be held at Shuili Snakekiln Ceramics Cultural Park (No. 21, Lane 512, Section 1, Shuili Township, Nantou County) from Nov. 16 (Thursday) to Nov. 30 (Thursday).
