The Outstanding Performing Art Team from Hsinchu City will Perform in Taoyuan

The two outstanding teams, Hsinchu Symphony Orchestra and Yayun Opera Studio, are going to perform Hollywood hit songs and Chinese classic theatres highlights in the auditorium of Taoyuan City Government Cultural Affairs Bureau on Sept 23 and 24. The City Government welcomes the public to come and enjoy the amazing performance.
 
Hsinchu City Mayor Lin Chih-chien stated that, through the cooperation and resource sharing of cities and counties, the project "Exchange of Outstanding Arts and Performing Teams" provides more opportunities to the local performing teams for displaying . Six outstanding teams have been selected this year, which covering four criteria including music, dancing, modern and traditional theater. Through this project, Hsinchu Symphony Orchestra and Yayun Opera Studio have this chance to deliver Hsinchu City's diverse arts and culture to Taoyuan.
 
During the press conference, Deputy Mayor Shen Huihong stated that apart from actively promoting Hsinchu City's performing arts, the selected outstanding teams this year also extend their performances to other cities and counties, providing more diverse contents to the performing arts lovers to enjoy.

Hsinchu City Cultural Affairs Bureau stated, "Hollywood in Concert - Hero and Love" will be presented by Hsinchu Symphony Orchestra, and offers the residents in Taoyuan popular Hollywood hit songs on September 23 at 7:30 pm, such as "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring”, "Sherlock Holmes", "How to Train Your Dragon", and "A Fistful of Dollars."
 
Furthermore, classic theatres highlights, such as "Travel in West Lake - The Story of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai", will be presented by YaYun Theatres Studio on September 24 at 2:30 pm, displaying traditional Chinese culture and moral values to the audience.
