2017 Simple Life- Strolling at Moat just ended, receiving great responses and the International Day- Exotic Marketplace will debut at Guanxin Park, inviting 29 countries and 40 booths. The City Government invites the public to experience and enjoy the exotic art and culture festival.
Mayor Lin stated, Hsinchu is a City with diverse population, many people came to Hsinchu City with different reasons, fell in love with the City, and became a Hsinchu City Citizen; Foreigners consist 3.5% of total Hsinchu City population, the International Day will allow foreigners to display their cultures to the public.
Hsinchu City Cultural Affairs Bureau stated, International day-Exotic Marketplace will debut on September 23 and 24 at Guanxin Park from 16:00 to 20:00, inviting foreign people such as United States, United Kingdom, Spain, Turkey, Greece, France, South Africa, India, Nepal, Colombia, Mexico, Australia, Russia, New Zealand, Thailand, Japan, Brazil and Canada; there will be 40 booths bringing specialty goods such as traditional delicacies, artworks, handcrafts and creative cuisines. Moreover, dance crews and bands from different countries will be performing traditional dances and music, the City Government welcomes the public enjoy exotic delicacies, art, cultures, and performances.
