In order to make Qingcao Lake to shine again, Hsinchu City Government authorized public entity to manage the Qingcao Lake recreational center, introducing water activities such as Stand Up Paddle (SUP); moreover, considering the needs of the public, the City Government also setup a new YouBike Station at Lakeshore Hotel, Mayor Lin Chih-chien stated, by combining YouBikes with water activities, the public can experience Qingcao Lake Scenery on water or by bikes.

Mayor Lin Chih-chien stated, in order to connect the attractions nearby while improving the reacreational elements of Qingcao Lake, the City Government setup a YouBike station across from Lakeshore Hotel, in addition to Stand Up Paddles, the public can take YouBikes to tour every corner of Qingcao Lake. In the future, the City Government hopes to introduce more sport and recreational elements combining with Qincao Lake environment, hosting diverse water activities to create a Sport City Trend; the City Government will also combine lake tour trails, hotels, and landscape restaurants, making the Qingcao Lake Recreational Center a new tourism hotspot in the City.
