2017 Simple Life- Strolling at Moat just ended, receiving great responses and the International Day- Exotic Marketplace will debut at Guanxin Park this weekend, and there will be 40 booths from 29 countries for the marketplace. The City Government invites the public to experience diverse exotic culture through dancing performances and delicacies.
Fikarast Coffee Manager David from United States has participated in the International Day for three years; he decided to settle in Hsinchu City because of his girlfriend, and he also made a lot of friends because of the International day, therefore, he looked forward for this third time participation in the event.
It will be the second time Roshev from Turkey to participate in the International Day, last year Roshev from Turkey was going to sell sweet soup, instead, he made Turkish BBQ and pancakes because of the theme of the event, and his food received great responses from the public, which gave him the idea to startup a business.
Although it is the first time for Chef Fratard from French Pastry Shop Le Nouveau Monde to participate in the International Day, he spotted Hsinchu’s high consuming power; he will bring the bestsellers to participate in the International Day.
Mayor Lin stated, it is the third year for hosting International Day, there will be two main themes of the event: Exotic Marketplace, and Exotic Art and Culture Performance, gathering participants from 29 countries such as United States, United Kingdom, Spain, Turkey, Greece, India, Nepal, and Mexico; there will be 44 booths and 14 performances, the City Government welcomes the public to enjoy exotic delicacies, art, cultures, handcrafts and performances.
