Event: "I Have a Date with the Animals"
"I Have a Date with the Animals" carnival will be held between May 27 and 28 during the Dragon Boat Festival weekend, because of the difficulties in finding parking around the event site, the public is asked to make use of public transportation, or walk to the event in avoiding traffic congestion. Sports Arena Carpark (Car 439 Scooter 203), Rear Station Carpark (Car 677 Scooter 1300), Jingping Carpark (Car 616 Scooter 1300), Zhongxiao RT-Mart Carpark No. 2 (Car 300)
Public Transport
Taiwan Rail: Disembark at Hsinchu Train Station, Head to the rear station via the underpass and follow the signs
HSR: Disembark at Hsinchu Station, transfer onto Taiwan Rail Liujia line to Hsinchu Train Station and follow the signs
Freeway Buses: Disembark at Hsinchu Bus Station and follow the signs
City Buses: Catch the Blue line, Blue 1, Route 2, 57, 71, 72, 73, 182, Expo 3, and disembark near the event site.
The Department of Transportation advises the public to make use of public transportation to attend the event. For those who drive, please park at nearby parking lots and follow the signs to the event; for safety concerns, please follow the instructions given by nearby staff members and police officers to reduce congestion issues.
Event: "2017 Hsinchu City Dragon Boat Competition"
"2017 Hsinchu City Dragon Boat Competition" heats will be on between May 28 and 29, the finals will be on May 30, in order for the event to run smoothly, road users please make note of the following information, should you have any questions, please call 1999 (citizen's hotline)

Road Sections Under Traffic Control
Xingang 1st Road (Nanliao Street to Dongda Road Section 4) is opened for red line scooter parking on one side
Xingang Road (Xingang 1st Road to Xingang 4th Road) right hand side road side parking will be used as temporary scooter parking instead
Nanliao Street (Mediterranean Landscapes Restaurant to Xingang 1st Road) is closed (Local traffic only)
The Department of Transportation reminds the participants to follow instructions given by the staff members, park vehicles according to the instructions and obey traffic control carried out by the police officers.
