Hsinchu City Fruit and Vegetable Business Association and enthusiastic stall members convey warm regards to disabled persons' agencies in winter. They donated 165 fruits and vegetables, 250 kg of white gourd, 1,000 kg of rice, and 20 boxes of cloth and toy to 5 disabled persons' agencies at Hsinchu Agricultural Products Marketing Corporation on Nov. 23. The donation worth $300,000 NT dollars and 1,200 people have benefited from the donation. Hsinchu City Mayor Lin Chih-chien appreciates them for the donation; hoping there will be more warm hearted groups to participate in charity and open a courtesy umbrella for the citizens with the City Government.

Apart from fresh fruits and vegetables, the donation also includes rice and other goods.
Mayor Lin states that he feels respectful that Hsinchu City Fruit and Vegetable Business Association has consecutively donating goods annually for 18 years. Additionally, the association provides free fruits and vegetables to table-sharing canteens every Wednesday through courtesy ingredient platforms from the beginning of 2017. The association already donated 6,000 kg of ingredients to table-sharing canteens.
